The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch display with 1,280×720 pixel display, MSM8960 8960 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, dual microphone, 4G LTE, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB onboard memory that is expandable by microSD. This phone comes with a 2,800mAh battery.
  
Rio expected to be a budget-friendly phone

It is not expected the Rio phone will be a high-end flagship, and the device is rumored to cost under $300 in growing markets. It may also come to the United States but that rumor has yet to be confirmed.
In other BlackBerry related news, the company formerly known as Research In Motion (RIM) is taking the throwback route and reviving a classic. The BlackBerry Classic will feature a 3.5-inch touch screen with 750×750 pixels, 8MP camera, 16GB storage, and a qwerty keyboard.
